While Mt. Everest might have the highest elevation (29’029 ft), Mt. Chimborazo (20’702 ft) is the furthest from the Earth’s center.

Now, since Mt. Everest is 2000 miles from the equator, but Mt. Chimborazo is almost directly on it (Ecuador), it adds more height to the mountain, almost an extra mile and a half to be exact.
